At the top of the hill is the All Saints church.3 people were having a private tour.Their driver and guide obviously knew his stuff so I discreetly listened in.The church was built in 1871 in the Gothic revival style and was designed by the noted colonial architect Henry Hunter. So a few pics as I had a bit of time there. The church ceased to be used about 10 years ago.

And the Sunday school.

Parked over the road from the RSL/Museum. Sunday so it was closed.

I've spent a lot of time in that building :) Its the Historical Society as well as the Heritage Museum and War Memorial Museum. Shame it was closed- its a very good local Museum - we got $350K some years back to renovate the entire 1860s School building and to add a new exhibition gallery and fancy preparation and controlled storage facilities at the back.

See the white thing on the sign? The Glamorgan Spring Bay Council in its wisdom recently shut the three Visitor Information Centres - Bicheno, Swansea (in the new part) and Triabunna, so the sign is now "altered". Tourism is, if course by far the biggest industry in the Council area.

Views over the bay to the Freycinet Peninsula.

If you went over the road, you would have found the "Loo with a view": very controversial new facilities with a similar outlook!

Then up one of the side streets. The court house and a B & B.

Old Court House, now disused and the 'B&B' is one of the best around. Meredith House, highly recommended!!

though few spots you could stop.

Arrrgh! We haven't been nagging the Council and State Govt about this for years!! The best view - near your last pic - is on a bend. For years and years you have had to slow right down on that corner because there is *nearly* always a tourist stopped there - sometimes pulled over as best they can, but sometimes just on the road. I kid you not.

You'll see in your last pic some road works. They are at last putting somewhere to park, but its tiny and a motorist can't see it until they sweep round the corner, on top of it.🤬😡.

On wednesday we went to a new restaurant for us - Prem's seafood bar and grill.Great timing opening on 1/3/20.Owned by a local couple. He was born in Sri Lanka and at the age of 3 adopted by a Tasmanian couple and educated in Devonport. Then went into acting and singing, moved to NSW then back to Devonport this year.He was sitting at the table next to us with his infant daughter. The smile never left his face.
The food wasn't bad either.Mrsdrron had the mussels and I a warm beef salad.
