A QFF around the world booking

This is my first posting. Any tips for the most cost (points) effective way of booking around the world flights. Leaving Melb 2nd July Mel-LA,Miami -NY, 7th Aug -NY-London, ( 8 Oct)London-Bangkok, Bangkok-Mel (18Oct). When do the days click over on the Qantas online booking? Will have to keep adding sectors, best way to do it?:oops:

Awards can be booked up to 353 days in advance so you have a few days to wait yet.

What class are you trying to book? F(irst), J(Business) or WHY(economy)?
 
We will be booking whY (Because that's all the points we have)Economy tix.
