Hi All,

I'm a Gold travelling PE SYD-CNS today together with a couple of colleagues on saver fares, is there any chance I can get the two of them into the lounge?
How strict is the one guest policy, especially if I'm travelling PE?

Cheers,

Matt.

It doesn't hurt to ask (nicely).

I managed to get 6 family members into the AA lounge in LAX by asking very nicely :)

With charm and politeness, most things are possible.

Last week, I managed to get a friend into a FLounge when said friend was not travelling with. But was travelling on a OW flight. It was made VERY clear that the indulgence was a one off.

It all depends on the Lounge person and possibly how busy the FLOunge is.

Good luck.

Its a big new Q dom lounge in CNS, I've got extra pax in there after asking nicely.

AA have different guest rules for A/C members than Qantas for QP, being "2 guests or immediate family". While not specifically applicable for oneworld status based entry, families are generally permitted.

Admirals Club ( R ) Lounge Access

*All guests must accompany the member. Immediate family refers to spouse, domestic partner and/or children under 18 years of age.

I've been told that in the past as well, but it's not as if they keep track of it ...

I am hoping that it is not recorded!

Mostly, I am a solo traveller, as a result I rarely exercise guesting "privileges". Indulgence on the part of the Lounge Dragons is greatly appreciated!

Put on a big cheeky grin and managed to guest 3 friends in - Thank you Virgin Australia and the lounge angels :)

They did make sure I knew it was a one off, no problems there!

Cheers,

Matt
