Cash or redemption? Do you marry with connecting flight to Europe?

I’ve only paid with cash a few times DPS-SIN on KLM.
The last time I was picking up a next day J flight on QR SIN-DOH and stayed at the Crowne Plaza. The last KLM flight was only about $400 in J for memory and was an excellent flight.

Yes Bali to Singapore on KLM
Usually only around $400 in J and is a great service IMO. Very good cabin with individual doors, meals are good, staff are good and you get the Delft house gift.

KLM is also on par cost wise in Y against the LCCs. I have always found SQ pricey for this route.

Saudia now has a fifth-freedom from Singapore to Denpasar (SV856/857) on the same route as KLM. While this was not a fifth-freedom at first (all passengers flew to or from JED) when it launched in March 2025, these rights were granted in August. I’m going to fly it next week, and I have very high expectations from SV (I don’t drink!), especially with its modern-looking refresh two years ago — those 787s in the new livery look spiffy.

Surprising that this was missed, given how comprehensive and global this list is otherwise!

New flat-bed Business Class option between Singapore and Bali

Saudia is now offering its three times weekly Singapore – Bali “fifth freedom” flights for sale and award redemption – another flat-bed Business Class option on the route.

Thanks for posting this. We did actually have SIN-DPS with Saudia on our list previously, but I removed it after doing an audit of the flights in our list in July because Saudia wasn't actually selling seats on the fifth-freedom sector back then. We've added it back to the list now!
