On the outbound HNL/AUA stretch what's the longest you can stopover at LAS & RDU?
Is it like the standard IATA definition of a stopover eg up to 24 hours even if there is an overnight stay involved or could you stay a few days?

Also Aruba has been on my wishlist for awhile, what month did you visit there & when would you recommend others travel there?
2 years ago I did take advantage of the 24 hour rule.Arrived LAX 2200 and departed next day at 2130.Never questioned.
Also been to Curacao in December and weather great(right next door to Aruba).

Unfortunately I only have 2 days available for a run in February 11 (mrs df will get very stroppy otherwise), but will try and maximise my SC's out of SFO......

Will post my results :)

Came up with a run that would give 1020 SC's for about $2500:

1/ LAX-DFW-TPA-DFW-LAX-DFW-TPA-DFW-LAX
2/ SFO-LAX-SEA-LAX-SFO-LAX-SEA-LAX-SFO

Two upcoming trips to the US with stops in LAX and SFO respectively.

Didn't need that many credits, and had to get from LAX-YYZ and back so decided with:

LAX-DFW-TPA-MIA-LGA-YYZ and return for 800 SC's and about $2100 above what I would have had to pay for return discount whY, and only $1100 above what QF would have charged to include LAX-YYZ in the itinerary.

I have a quick trip to Washington in October and the best balance between price, directness and SCs for a KUPP/YUPP has me travelling ONT-DFW-BWI return. End cost was A$1256 all up and returns 420sc.
Considered other combinations but limited for time. The use of ONT and BWI have a significant price impact, but need to consider getting to and from those airports. Still worked out ok for me and allows a bit of sightseeing along the way.

What did you end up doing here steptoe?
