a bit miffed

I was a bit miffed that I couldn't post on the 'help me find a flight' type of thread until I got up more posts.
As a zero poster and a complete newbie, I would have thought someone like me was the obvious candidate to post on that thread, since I'm having difficulty, knowing nothing.
Why do I have to have posted 10 posts and been a member for so many days? What difference would that make?

I can understand your frustration but sadly there are reasons for such limitations, perhaps the most basic being previous ocurrences of oneway sharing of resources/information.
In no way am I suggesting you would be doing such, I am just trying to explain.

In any case, there are other places in this forum where you may pose your questions and the members may atempt to answer.

Thanks serfty. I can understand that it will obviously be a thread that is taken advantage of, professionally particularly. Just....ergh.
May I please ask, WHERE in this forum might I ask such a question?
and why can one other member see up to 14th July, 2020 on the bookings for Classic rewards, while I can only see up to 3rd July 2020 on classic reward bookings? Any idea?
