Booked Per/ Detroit, J, in July, with 2;40 min wait in Syd, Qan has now changed Per leg to the red eye flight the night before making it a hr9.1/2 wait in Syd. Getting in, around 00:6/30am do I have any come back on Qantas? e.g., accommodation, bed, etc, or is the lounge open and will they let me stay that long
Regards. Alan D

If your class of travel, status, or paid lounge membership entitles you to lounge access there will be no issues with you staying in the lounge during the transit.

You have no claim on accommodation.

However, if a short layover has become nine hours, that would be sufficient for you make changes to you booking to a more suitable flight. If you plan to do this, I’d suggest identifying your preferred alternative QF flights before calling.
