80,000 Velocity Points - ANZ Traveller

I'm confused by this promo - the credit card page on their website doesn't reference anything about 80k VFF points.

Rewards Travel Adventures credit card | ANZ

Yet the link in the original post has the promo running... I assume it's a targetted offer (which anyone can use)?
It's on the internet, that's publicly available in my view. I have had a similar discussion on another card, bank said no you aren't entitled but I had a copy of the T&C's pdf'ed (always do this), no exclusions which barred me. Some back and forth, I threatened to take it to FOS and suddenly points arrived.
 
Got my ANZ email with code today, so have registered. No mention of being targeted in email, will see how it goes

In my case:
Approved last Thursday
Activated Tuesday this week
Received code today (Friday)
(I applied through the link on this forum and was not specifically targeted)
 
Mrs RB has been approved for this card. As retirees there were a few hoops to jump through & we had to submit some figures online but all ended ok. Heres hoping the ANZ email with code arrives as expected

Activated card on Tuesday, and received code this morning (Friday). Similarly applied through the link in this thread.
Approval took 5 days, asked for payslips from previous month, submitted these and called up a day later to enquire as to progress. Was approved while on the phone.
 
Ok I activated the card yesterday, still waiting for my pin to arrive in the mail.
Hopefully I receive the email next week sometime.
 
Is the 12 exclusion period only if you had the ANZ Rewards Travel Adventures card previously?
Am I okay if I had the ANZ Qantas Black card in the last 12 months?
 
I've been approved 2 weeks ago, received the card and pin and have been using it since. Still not activation code received in email.

Have you received the Welcome to ANZ Rewards email? The code and submission link are in the bottom of that email.

No, haven’t received that email. The only email I got was one where it notified me I had been approved.
I think a phone call is in order...

Hmm, I've activated ANZ Rewards and got the welcome email, but no code in it. I only activated on Wednesday though so I'll give them a few more days to send it through, no rush.

You do need to activate ANZ Rewards separately (or at least that's what I did) which you can do on their website:

I spoke too soon. I've just received the code now. So essentially I got two Welcome to ANZ Rewards emails, the first when I activated ANZ Rewards and a second, very different looking one just now with my code and instructions.
I've put the code and my details into the web form though I did notice that the FAQ said I wouldn't receive the code until after I'd hit the spend. I'm well below that point so perhaps I'll need to do this process again after the spend, or perhaps the FAQ is just a little bit wrong.
