I was lucky to be gifted two lounge passes on this thread.
After three weeks of emails to Qantas, with no resolution, I have finally been able to link my passes to my International flight this Friday night.
Surprisingly they have been linked to Adelaide Business Lounge.
The problem is, we have an 8 year old, who will be asleep at 8pm, for our 1040 flight, but we don’t have a lounge pass for him.
Will they let a sleeping 8 year old in with us?
Thanks and Merry Xmas.
Please move my post if in the wrong spot.

My understanding is no. A lounge pass does not entitle you to any guests, even if your child.

my read of the rule is that the complementary child access only applies to QFF Gold or higher member (or QC member) flying on QF marketed and operated flights.

Yes I know. Are they strict on this?
Not on free lounge passes. He does need his own, I was wondering if they are rigid with this rule.

You get child access if you are a member but my understanding is lounge passes are different. It is one pass per person. There is no guest entitlement . Actually just found it online:

Please note, all lounge passes allow access for one person and don't include access for additional guests or children.

Based on their website, they are. I don’t have firsthand experience… but they specifically say no additional child

Must admit that to a certain extent contradicts this statement on the longe pass page: “Please note, all lounge passes allow access for one person and don't include access for additional guests or children. “ So I maybe wrong.

Lounge dragons have been known to compassionate with kids….

yes, I have read that. How rigid are they? It’s not like he will be drinking the whiskey.
