750k Altitude points - need to redeem before cancelling card - suggestions?

Hi All
I have approx 750k Altitude points. As this card is no longer worth keeping I wanted to ask your assistance with the best use of these points. I do have a trip to Europe planned for later this year - would SQ still be the best redemption? Transfer rate is 3:1 though which is not great.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

One downside though to KF is mile expiry.

750k altitude pretty easy to spend on SQ though and there are ways to get around the 3 year expiry.

Thanks! If some of the Alt points are in my partners name should we transfer to their KF membership and then book seats under my name or is there any advantage of transferring via Velocity despite the transfer surcharge?
