But many WP didn't get the email and it was by complete chance I saw this first thing this morning.

My rant was 100% facetious. I got 2 emails from Qantas today. One at 16:22 to update me about all the flying they want to do but cant. And a second at 19:04 trying to flog another variant of insurance. Or was it about getting a great deal when I switch energy providers? Or was it something to do with healthy eating and general wellbeing?? Whatever it was, had SFA to do with anything related to being an airline...

Shame on me for not having the time or inclination to keep a focused eye on the Qantas newsroom or their social media all day, everyday.. 🤷‍♂️

My bad. I don't seem to pick up facetious well on forums 🤭

Given the demand, they've probably got some maintenance crew spinning up some new ones (then bashed a bit) and churned out for a nice little earner.

Thanks, they do, but anything at a remotely reasonable price?

Otherwise I'll wait til my next trip to Poland.

You'll need to check (maybe online). But you live in Australia...you already know the answer to your question ;)

Will 2.25L from Poland be enough? Or just cough up on the import tax?

Usually go in a pair, so bring back 4.5L. That's 9 bottles of good vodka for $6 each. So, I guess that will have to do!

Anyway, won't happen for 12 months...

The current offer includes delivery - at least in the headline.
I’ve not explored the fine print. :).....
.....Oh. Delivery for onselling!
Yes, a different matter!

I think capital cities only.

When I subsequently checked the T&C notes, they state:
Delivery of the bar carts is limited to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth metro postcodes only, due to their heavy nature.
However, there is anecdotal evidence of delivery elsewhere being provided. :)

maybe that's why I didn't get an email then as I live in Canberra. But still....

Well, I received the email. Those who didn’t receive it may need to check their junk folder, unless they were not considered to be worthy. 🤭

For those of us who did or didn't receive the email (I did) I wonder if there is a pattern, or it was totally random. People who did have you flown this year, maybe since July, and/or have some future domestic bookings? We flew to Cairns in July, off to Adelaide next weekend and Canberra first week in November? Hotel and car rental booked through QF. People who didn't no post COVID travel with no future bookings? Just seeing if there could be any reason as locality doesn't seem to be it.

Yes, to the email.
No, to flying these past months.
No, to future domestic bookings.
No, to hotel and car rental.
I’m locked down in MEL.:)

Sorry to wreck the theory. 🤭 We flew Qantas in July and booked a hire car through them. No email. 🤷‍♀️
