Thanks for posting. Great shot.

Now - can we name all the aircraft types in the shot? I can see a Dreamlifter, Concorde, a 747-100 and the 707 Air Force One. Maybe a DC-3 but the other few I am not sure of.

Saw this awesome photo on Reddit the other day - just wish it was in higher res!

Shame they didn't roll out the 787 prototype, I know it wasn't flying then but still would have been a nice touch.

On the east lawn you have a DC3 and a B29.
You also have a 727-223, a 737-130, a 747-121, a VC0137B, & Concorde .

Based on the 787 in production/testing now, and possibly a new design coming out in the next 20 years (797), they’re going to have to start a new line of numbers.

That or call the one after the 797 the 7107 (seven ten seven)... :D

Wasn't the 787 just behind the 777... I think they had some smoke in the coughpit and had to stop :p

Pardon me if it is slightly OT, but your title got me thinking....I have flown on every model of Boeing jet listed.

TWA 707 1979, ORD - SFO. I changed my flight from a UA DC10 just so I could fly on one before they were phased out. Have also flown the DC8, DC9, DC10 and L-1011 but haven't made the MD11. In those days the US airlines would all accept each others (paper) tickets but would put little stickers on them to change the flight details.

Not to neglect Airbus, have flown all the models except the A310. Fortunately I flew on Nancy Bird Walton last year before her current dramas. One posting on Pprune suggested Airbus may be taking VH-OQA back to use as a test machine.

Sounds like a trip to Ozfest via Cns is in order.

That puts the price of the trip way up, even with the sale. I’m not sure it’s worth it for another plane spec, especially as I can’t complete the collection now anyway, unless John Travolta offers to fly me somewhere :p

Reading the comments for the pic on Flickr, there is one 7xx series aircraft missing from the event for the pic. The 720.
