To those that have used one of these promos previously, would you know if the bonus SCs are still earned if I use Business Direct for the booking? I have registered (and taken a screen shot of the registration confirmation) so my understanding is business direct bookings just add the company points without detracting at all from the members entitlements of points and status credits, is that correct?

I received this one too. Probably won’t be able to take advantage of it so I don’t think I’ll even activate it.

What is the title of this email usually?

Just so I can search my inbox and junk mail folder. thanks.

In my case it was this:

Fly to Brisbane, get 50% more Status Credits

I've checked the Ts&Cs and it seems the need to include BNE is not a requirement (however I will be either flying into or out of BNE on each sector I intend booking, so hopefully I'm covered regardless.

i think they are targetted. I seem to get them when my activity takes a dip.
Just noticed I received this offer on Fri. Not sure why I'm being targetted as my flights with QF increased quite substantially in the past month. Anyway, it could be because I haven't received any offer for a long while, who knows.

And oops, didn't realise that accepting the offer will diminish the chance of better ones in future...oh well, lessons learnt.

As in title of the email, my reads as follows (email from [email protected]):
Enjoy 50% bonus Status Credits on your next Qantas flight

Seems like I got one in August... I think I remember this, but didn't have anything to book at the time.
That would make a double offer at in Jan or Feb, a 50% in August. Perhaps I'm due for a new years treat 2018?

Just recieved this in the Inbox this morning - I assume it's no coincidence that I've been searching trips to NZ the last few days and this one was titled "Fly to Christchurch, get 50% more Qantas Points"

So QFF promos seem to be intuitive. My recent searches were for BNE (one way or the other) and I haven't flown QF for a number of months.

Can you have a read of the Ts&Cs to see if the is an actual requirement to fly to Christchurch?

No, don't need to fly to NZ. From the e-mail...

For those trying to work out how these offers are targetted.
My email didn't tell me where to go :).
Mrs C didn't get 50% bonus SC offer.
#1 son, WP with no SC this year, no squiggle flights and no planned bookings yet this year didn't get 50% bonus SC offer.
Both Mrs C and I are WP (we have 250+ SC this year), she already has her 4 squiggle flights (with more domestic flights booked a/c her work), I have no squiggle flights yet but we have awards bookings in 12/2017 (QF & EK) and paid bookings in 05/2018 (on QF with DSC).
Go figure.

It's a form of retargetting, where you've shown an online interest in something, and now they are trying to close the deal.

Noted. i should stop searching in incognito and without being logged into my account.
I always think they are going to try and up the price since i keep searching the same thing.

Well it worked in my case. Gave them 4 BNE-POM (o rV.V.) sectors that were going to PX and 4 BNE-CNS (or V.V.) sectors that were waiting for a "deal".

Only thing that peeves me just a bit, is QF wanting a fee for seat selection. For example, if I bought PX, with no status, I can now seat select with the booking (new Sabre benefit) but with QF they want a fee to do so, and they charge more for the same plane (in one case)! Silly thing is, +1 and baby +1 are flying on PX and I could allocate them a seat (two good seats as well), yet I'm paying $100+ more on the same plane and can't seat select!

Was looking at flights to Noumea and got this the other day. Initially thought it only applied to flights to Noumea. Someone must be watching me.

Just received a 50% bonus status credit offer 2 days after the end of the latest DSC - both in the month of my membership anniversary...

Just got one this morning via email. Pretty sure it could be targeted as I’ve been searching the QF site for a few days for Gold Coast flights and then this morning I get an email titled “Fly to the Gold Coast, get 50% more Status Credits”

Detail? Is it just for flights to the Gold Coast or a general bonus?
