A few years ago the professionally outraged were protesting about the potential damage to the environment! Now they're all flying off on holiday! Strange!
 
I don't really understand the whole point of this article. Are they saying more people than normal will be flying over this particular long weekend than previous long weekends? Or any given 3 day period in the past? 4000 BA flights over 3 days doesn't seem like an unusual amount.

Or is it just a pointless fluff PR piece?
