Just received my statement after hitting the min spend. No mention of the sign up bonus and nothing transferred. Great -_-

It could take a business day or two or so after your statement to get the points for the month especially after the first one. As for the sign up bonus depending on the T&Cs that may not be transferred for a while yet. If they haven't transferred it by the time they said they would then follow it up.

If anyone is having trouble with not getting their Qantas points transferred over you may need to ring Altitude Rewards on 1300 887 820 (available weekdays between 8am-8pm EST) like I did. Even though my Qantas number was showing up on my statements they said it hadn't been linked properly and my points should now be transferred by my next statement date. Others on OzBargain have also had success gaining their points using this method.

Had the same experience as above.
After being bounced around Westpac, they put me through to QF (??) who obviously couldn't help.
Ended up with the Altitude team who took down my FF number (even though it was correctly reflected on my statements, and works fine for my existing Black card), and confirmed my points + bonus points will come across with the next (first) sweep, due 16 May.
FYI, bonus points allocated, and also first year free as existing customer, even though holding the QFF Black card at same time (received last year, no first year fee + sign up bonus)

You got the bonus 40k points whilst holding an Altitude Black card even though the T&Cs say you are not eligible for the 40k bonus?

"Existing Westpac, St George, Bank of Melbourne and BankSA customers currently holding a credit card or have closed a credit card within the previous twelve months from card activation are not eligible for this offer."

That's right.
Hold Altitude QF Black (got 60k on that one.
Applied for the Altitude QF Platinum to 'test' the bonus points - no skin off my nose (credit score aside), as it was fee free year one.
Called to ask why my spend points hadn't posted yet and when fixing it they said I had 40,836 points waiting to sweep,on 16 May....
ANZ strictly enforce the 12mth thing, others including Amex (and WBC now!) seem a little more lax....

Confirmed - had this problem but after a few minutes on the phone to the rewards team it was fixed. New statement just came though and all existing (missing) points showed up in my QFF account.

Interesting. I was holding off on this one as I just closed my StGeorge Signature card earlier this year and assumed they wouldn't give me the points.

Anyone else managed to get the points despite having had another 'excluded' card in the last 12 months?

Now I'm tempted to apply;)

Ugh,
I couldn't even get the free saver account opened online. Probably have to go into branch.. Quite the hassle... But still, free points...

I also have a current ST George Signature well as my WBC Black

Yes, definitely, last year.
60k each from memory

My account was also "not linked" to my QFF account despite the QFF number appearing on my statement.
The call centre person seemed to know exactly what I was calling about before I had even said anything lol

This card is on the way for me. I'm churning it for the bonus points.

I was a bit torn as to 40K QFF points or 20K VA points, as VA is my primary and QF is secondary. But I think if I value VA points at 4 to 5 c for long haul business redemption and QF points at 3 to 4c for long haul business redemption it is still better value to get the Qantas points.

So I got this card (despite having closed my StGeorge card earlier this year), did the spend and got my first statement today - no bonus points.
Should I be giving them a call or wait?

My bonus points were on the third statement. Patience.

I take it you hit the required spend within your first statement?
