Qantas will be launching a sale at 10:00am (AEST) tomorrow, Thursday 13 June 2019, offering 30% off the Qantas Points required for an Economy Classic Flight Reward on Qantas, Jetstar and Jetstar Asia operated flights with a QF, JQ or 3K flight number for travel between 23 July 2019 and 31 March 2020.

The sale will run for four days only, ending at 11.59pm (AEST) on 16 June 2019.

So the promo says Economy Classic Flight Reward - Would this include premium economy?

Given the challenge of getting the booking you want - is there a best strategy to increase your chances?
e.g. do you start your booking before 10am EST, and if so which booking screen do you get to before waiting?

Thanks in advance

Start the booking after 10am, as 10am is 0000GMT, which is what the system bases the timings off.

OK, thanks.
I was hoping there might be a way to get a headstart to increase my chances. Oh well, just see how it goes I guess

You may be able to book it early, but manual intervention may be needed if the booking isn't created on that date.

Thanks for the heads up.

I’ll take a look tomorrow.
What with the run around Test cricket it certainly saves

Sale is now live. Interestingly as of 1115 AEST there is no mention of this promotion on the homepage tiles.

Hey all,
What would be the fastest way to get 10,000 more points?
So far I have found - family member transfer and buy direct from QANTAS - both appear to be very fast to be credited
It looks to me that even if I buy something from the QANTAS store I would not get the points and bonus points for up to 6 weeks - Which is a shame since the cost of buying 10k points from QANTAS directly is more than if you buy a case of wine with a bonus 10k points included!

Are there any other ways of earning QANTAS points instantly - or do I just have to hit up a family member (given how horrific the buy from QANTAS cost is)?

There's more information on the Qantas website here: https://www.qantas.com/au/en/frequent-flyer/member-specials/qantas-points-flash-sale.html

Buying wine normally has the points post within 24 hours (although there have been some reports lately that it has been longer).

Thanks guys - I'll reconsider that as an option - buying points from QANTAS is just ridiculously priced in comparison
But still hoping to hit up a family member as the best option
Thanks again for the info
