I've always found Accor Ad+ pretty good. I just renewed my membership for the fifth year and then booked my free night at the Sofitel Wentworth in Sydney when I return from an around Australia trip later in the year, so I am already in front (membership costs about A$280) with half price dining in many Accor properties and members booking rates you end up saving a bit if you travel. However I generally would not stay in Formule 1 or Ibis properties.

I just completed a stay @ Ibis Darling Harbour and found the room most pleasant, in fact I found it better than the Novotel that I stayed in last time when coming over for the same event (CeBIT).

To make things even better, I had the $1 breakfast (as per the Ibis promo) but rather than being billed each day, it was just billed once so for 33.3c a day I had a v. nice breakfast!
