Yeah, Hilton ongoing offers are good like that. The last one, covering Jan-May was really poor. Double points is much better.

Do you have to register before checking in or before checking out? I’m staying this week and again in exactly 4 mths today.
So if I start the timer when I check out this Fri it would capture the next stay.

I booked 2 rooms in Darwin and only got the double on one room
its a pretty poor promo as its a one room only. deal

Got double points for a stay after being initially told by HH the stay was ineligible for any points, as I booked via Amex The Hotel Collection.

Had to contact the hotel and they fixed it with HH for me. Once the stay credited then the double points was automatic. So was definitely worth chasing.
