Lets mention perth international flights with Qantas again. ..

I got an email early this morning "Great fares, going fast. The global sale is now on" from QFF, no mention of 25% more points though.
Is this the same email your points offer came through in?

I got the same. No points bonus.

I received both "Global Sale" and the 1¼ point earn emails.

Neither any use to me ...

Can anyone post a link to the registration page, or is it customized to the ff#?

Nothing here ... but then I'm not really that fussed. I'm in the position of not really needing those points and I reached my WP renewal after 6 months - courtesy of the various DSCs along the way. Now off to build status with VA which proves two points:

1. The DSC can actually be disadvantageous to QF ... without them ([personal at beginning of year, Xmas mass mailing) I would have just scraped in enough SCs to renew, now I can look elsewhere with the remaining 6 months worth of flight revenue

2. If QF are in the sort of dire straits Mr Joyce insists they are, I need a backup status which I probably woudn't have considered before. Previously, I would have looked to build my lifetime SCs; what's the point in doing that if QF isn't going to be around - or if it's not going to be operating majorly in the international space - in a few years time?

Regards,

BD

A bit of me worries about this as well, but after trying VA again it just doesn't do it for me..

Where QFi operates now is where they will likely to continue operating
QFd I feel will continue to expand/make better use of downtime of jets like with the recent expansion

But having your feet in both camps isn't a bad thing

However, earning Gold on VA isn't that hard really which is good enough for hot dogs and a few drinks in the lounge

I only got this one too. Nothing about 25% extra.

Maybe it's because I'm in PER, where we will soon have no international QF flights.
