EDIT: just read anot0l's post - I will need some more info on that, but we'll be spending at least the day before in SYD, so getting there with plenty of time to spare shouldn't be too difficult...

Checked luggage Just means you have to wait until 3 hours beforehand to check your luggage in. If you were on a qf flight from elsewhere to Sydney on the same PNR you should be able to get your JQ BP when checking in for the QF flight. HLO in that situation would mean more lounge time.
 
Thanks Medhead - just pulled a DYKWIA and got a middle seat blocked just to make sure I am in training and it went well!
 
The one week of the year I go away and I miss this... Coolum Beach better be worth it!
 
I might be able to make this, as present I have a room reserved for 24th at HSW and a flight back to CBR from MEL on the 25th

I too have some spare passes which I will bring. I have a cunning plan to get the JQ BP as well.
