Commentators seem to be saying it was driver error - looked more like a rear wheel lock up or similar. Whatever, that was a very short appearance.

Well done RUS and Merc. Great to see Ferrari in the mix. My driver of the day was ANT - what a recovery after his P3 shunt! Close second to LIN with points on debut.

More interesting race than most. New regulations seem to have had a positive despite all the pre race complaints.

Time will tell, but certainly the start was very fun. Drivers all seem to be very well behaved on track too. I suspect after a few races they'll all have picked up how battery management affects strategy and it'll be back to normal anyhow.

Nice to see T- pose back and George taking the win. A lot to take away. Really good battling early on although I think Ferrari strategy is still a bit sus. They were rockets off the line though, although somehow George had no battery at the line (maybe Kimi too?). Max quietly sliding his way to P6 starting P20.

If we consider that both Max and Lando were on 2 stop strategies, if they were on single stops they would be a lot closer to the top 4. So we'd definitely have 4 cars that can fight at the top although the Mercs definitely look like they're ahead.

Other interesting tid bits, awesome to see Lindblad have a good debut. Did Alonso randomly come back later for a few laps? And nice to see Cadillac and Audi finish their first GP.

Look forward to Lollipop. Lots of things for them this GP.

Never heard so much talk about charging and harvesting and super clipping.....just want a motor race.
Some interesting racing I guess until Ferrari did Ferrari things from the wall
