I happen to be in PER that weekend and wouldn't want to miss Rottnest Island this time...

Had to look up what weekend you're talking about...

I'll be at work.

SA Wine tasting has been a semi-regular thing for us. Fly Friday, sneak in McLaren Vale before Sea & Vines gets crazy, then tick off Clare, Barrossa and/or Hills. The dozen cases trickle back over the following fortnight!

Most likely Van Gogh at the NGV and AFL in Melbourne (try to see the NGV winter "block buster" each year).

Pattaya Soi 8 Beach Road with wife and daughter and Golden Ferret golf society. It doesn't get much better....

That weekend is "Hair EXPO" the biggest hairdressers trade fair in Aust. Imagine 5000-10000 odd hairdressers in one place at one time. @ the new Darling harbour expo site. You have been told, your choice now is to either go and have a blast or stay away. I have been around 20 times over the years and this is the first one I will miss in years.

Off to NZ flying J with VA via CHC then AirNZ to ZQN. A weekend of Snowboarding, Indulgence and plenty of wines to come!

I almost splurged on F with EK to CHC but saved my points and going to spend them on a DXB-AMS trip sometime this year (56k for 3 hour flight vs 75k for 7 hour flight + chauffeur + DXB F lounge).

Ah that explains the old buses I saw around Central Station today.
