Mmm. Tallinn would be nice. Mrs P would always like more French countryside. Another visit to Istanbul, Mashhad and/or Shiraz. The Jebel Akhdar and the drive up the coast from Dubai to Musandam.

Cuba for sure this year (Oct), but if it's appearing on lists already, I fear it's too late.

just back from Patagonia - highly recommend it if you're the outdoorsy type. Walk at least some of the 'W' and I understand, Winter is the best season (less rain and cloud).

This year I hope to compare SQ F with SQ R.

Sounds like fun, hope a TR will follow ;)

I'd like to try some new airlines every year.
The KE A380 parked in SYD each morning really taunts me. Must find a way to book an F award on it somehow (without chase CC).
Same goes for AF La Première, I have two departures scheduled from CDG next year, both from terminal 1 unfortunately...

8/16 from the list so far, very keen on Cuba.

Salmon fishing in Alaska - end of June
A White Christmas (destination undecided yet) - well....Christmas time!!

A White Christmas (destination undecided yet) - well....Christmas time!!

tried for a White Xmas 2015..booked and stayed in Chamonix in the French alps. We had snow/ice to ski on but nothing fell while we were there. ?this year?

Completed 8, will add another this year. (Jerusalem)
Yellowstone NP would be my choice for 2016 bucket list.

I've done 2 of the 16 (Cuba and San Francisco) and am back in San Francisco in about 11 weeks for a few days. Nothing else on the list there is rating on my current list.

NYC is always on my bucket list as I just love that city - and 12 weeks to go for that!
Northern Lights -and some of those Northern countries was my planned trip for Xmas 2016 but family obligation is going to have to come first.
Africa - going back soon is a high priority and may do this in September.
Spain and Italy await too.

I have 'go to New Zealand and America before end of September' on my mind; Unsure if it will be achievable money wise but I'll give it a try.

We are going to do an easy travel year in 2016. Have probably done about 50% of those on the list but one thing about getting older is choosing to do only the places that you are interested in seeing rather than focusing on what others think are in.

We will probably do a week in Hawaii diving, a couple of weeks in Montreal cycling and maybe a trip to Oz for Christmas 2016. If the stars align I may make a repeat visit to Cambodia.

Someone mentioned the Northern Lights in Tromso. We did that Christmas 2014. Enjoyed immensely but would advise do not book a tour to chase the lights until the last minute when the weather forecast is known. You can also get lucky and perhaps see the lights from the hotel.

I hear ya, bsb! Cuba was on the list for this year but given the US-Cuba commercial flights will likely recommence in the next few months I'm not so sure...

I only have one trip planned for this year - San Diego in three weeks. I've had to leave the rest of the year disturbingly empty as I will likely become unemployed sometime around April. Upside is my redundancy payout may help fund a trip or three once I've decided what I'm going to do next to pay the bills :D

Iguazu and Macchu Picchu (and Inca Trail) booked for June and July. Flying back Air NZ J, our fourth international J experience but the first we've paid with our own money and not points.

Our bucket list just got more interesting. We will be close to the Inland sea of Japan when they have theirl Art Trienniale-
About | Setouchi Triennale 2016

And our time in Hawaii will see the 75th Anniversary of Pearl Harbour with a mass band performance-
Music Celebrations 2016 USS Battleship Missouri Memorial - 75th Anniversary Pearl Harbor Mass Band

A parade-
Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade December 7th Waikiki Hawaii

And maybe a chance to meet POTUS-
Groups to ask Obama to mark Pearl Harbor attack anniversary | West Hawaii Today

Don't worry, I haven't fared much better.

This year I hope to compare SQ F with SQ R.
Nor me ... my main bucket item is several hours in the DXB EK First Floor before QF1 ...

(although I do have bookings for Tasmania, Japan, USA, UK and the Netherlands ...)

I only managed 5 of the 16.

Trips already booked for 2016 include Halong Bay at the end of this month and Bora Bora in May

definitely worthwhile doing. We're there again tomorrow on our way back from Paris to brizvegas

I have only done 4 on that list with no great desire to do any others.

I love to travel. I love to see new places. I love golf. It's good to get the 2 aligned.

I can be jealous but I don't want to go somewhere because it has been recommended by someone or is on someone's bucket list.

Still saving those QFF points for the Oneworld awards that are going to take me to places I have never visited. Some places within the USA such as Palm Springs and Myrtle Beach. Some places in the UK. The rest will fall into place.

Two weeks BME-BME through the Kimberley via the Gibb River Road and the Bungle Bungles is planned for June.

Madagascar in July, using that as the foundation for more travel in South Africa, Kenya and Tanzania before and after.

House sitting a certain AFFer's house in the Hunter Valley in Sept-Nov ;), so a good excuse drive across Australia which I haven't done for many years :).

DONEx 2017 plans are also firming up - but that will go OT :p.

Well, we can cross that one off the list.

Just returned from a wonderful trip to Tromsø and had the best of luck with a pre-booked guide. I booked our car/guide months before arriving... lucky for us the nights were clear, although nothing visible from Tromsø, and we were able to drive to the coast (1hr) rather than 3/4hrs into Finland.

Got to see the lights, enjoyed a campfire on the beach in -19C and listened to whales breathing whist the lights were dancing - an incredible experience!

My tip - unless you have the camera equipment and knowledge to make the settings - hire a guide. I'd also head away from town regardless of conditions as you really need to get away from the light pollution.

That's wonderful, I'm so envious. You don't seem to have your arms in the air like the rest of the fam - what a great photo, you'll have to enlarge that one and use it on Christmas cards etc.
