Well, I am headed home now and all I can say is thanks Munitalp for your work in pulling everything together. Thanks also to the others who helped while he was out of touch. What a great night!

On a serious note, thank you to Mr and Mrs MunitalP for organising a wonderful evening. As the recipient of one of the major prizes (10,000 QF points) I am very happy and thankful to Qantas for their generous donation to our community.

Rest assured they will be used with great pleasure.

To Amadeas, thank you for the luggage tag. It will be used and remind me of the evening here.

Thank you both for supporting our event, it is good to know you think we're an important part of your business.

I have spoken to so many people and had many great conversations. To Admin and his +1, I really enjoyed the time we spent talking and the interaction with the waiter re the napkin was, shall we say, interesting.

It is now late and I need my beauty sleep to prepare for the 9.00am breakfast. Photos of the delicious food will follow soonest.

Smooth run to MEL, a few minutes in the lounge & now on board. (The security people are looking very amused at all the strange stuff people have in their bags - would be fun to watch the screen for a while.)

Still savouring the memory of a day of great company & delicious food. Mozzarella, tomato & balsamic salad, salt & pepper squid, pavlova, glass of the bollinger. Nibbles in the HSW lounge. Then the venison, steak & the ginger semifreddo. Yum!!

Thanks everyone for an enjoyable day. Extra thanks to Mr & Mrs munitalP. It was all just great :).

and thank you Hilton for having us there.

Getting ready to checkout of HSW. Massive thanks to munitalP for organising this event, and also to those that assisted him. We had a great time and the restaurant meal was top notch. Thx to QF and Amadeus for their sponsorships.
 
Thanks to Gordon and others for a great Xmas dinner. Long Qs for security at Qf domestic at Mel now so allow a little extra time if flying today. Merry Xmas to all!

Another fantastic do, despite a few hiccups with me getting here.

Huge thanks MutinalP, Mrs MutinalP, anat0l, oz_mark and others for all the work behind the scenes to make this do come together. Thanks also to Qantas and Amadeus for their sponsorship. For such a big turnout things ran very smoothly. I think this would be close to the largest AFF do we have had (others care to confirm?).

I had a great time and I'm sure I may look a little intoxicated in some of those pesky photos :p. I think I shook most of the hands in the room, and it was great to see so many new faces and discuss the things these events are famous for. Thanks also to those who stayed up late and shared some interesting anecdotes at the after after party in Bundy Bear's King Yarra Suite.

Have a great break, and I look forward to seeing you all at an airport, on a plane or in some strange city in the new year :)

I know how much work goes into planning and pulling off a successful 'do' and it is really appreciated.
Myself an Mr Fifa had a terrific night and we look forward to catching up with everyone again in the near future.

My thanks also.

To the organising team for their sterling efforts (yet again), to Hilton for a much appreciated room upgrade, exec lounge warmness and for parking my car in the foyer rather than the grubby carpark, to Qantas for the prizes I didn't win, to Amadeus for the quality luggage tags and to all attendees for turning up and making last night another superb AFF event.

I thoroughly enjoy catching up with all those I've met previously and meeting all those new AFFers so I can put a face to the handles and occasionally names as well (at least for 1/2 hour or so until I forget them all again).

One gripe I do have however, is that with such wonderful company, the evening is over so very quickly. Thanks to all and sorry if I didn't get to meet everyone (though I think I came close this time)............I am glad I was not one of those who had to catch flights this morning. To you I say, that's life!! :D

Bring on the next one!

Brilliant event Gordon. Organising so many AFFers couldn't have been easy, but I think everyone had a great time. :)
 
Was great to bump into Travel Guru at MEL premium security.... Although for a supposed seasoned flyer he might want to work on not setting off the metal detectors ;)

Massive thanks to Awilcockson and Trippin-the-rift for ferrying me from BNE to the city and back during my transit! I even had time for a quick J lounge beverage before boarding :)
 
Need to add my thanks to munitalP et al for organising a fantastic event; to Qantas for my major prize :D and to all the people that came along on the night. It was very nice meeting everyone for the first time. I can't wait for the next event!

I have to say munitalP and Anat0l it was definitely a very successful event. Really well done on this one.

I'm back at work and having withdrawals already.... But got given a good excuse for some extra post-new year travel :)
 
Sigh...sad I missed yet another great AFF event, from the looks of it.
