Yeah agree Mal, the guards did know who and who not to let in today, I was "welcome sir" by the doorman.

I wasn't drinking so didn't partake in any amber refreshment, the bottled water at $4.20 was a bit steep, however, the bar lady asked "bottled or from the tap". I took the bottled of course.

The free ear plugs worked well, I would have liked to see a breathalyser on the wall and sunblock for use as well. The breathalyser's are common place in corporate areas I have been before, and are great for drinking games to see who can blow the highest... NO, I mean, they are great to keep track of your drinking especially if driving after the event!

Great day all round, thanks Nick for the pass!

spent usual amount of time in GP Advantage Bar / Pete's Bar.
for once, Pete's Bar was NOT the most expensive bar in the precinct.
First time for everything!!!
On Friday in the GP Advantage Bar a glass of wine was $6.00
on Saturday it was $8.50...........same wine of course.

my idea of going to the normal bar and bringing back into GP Advantage worked well.
they didn't even try and stop me from bringing the drink back in. just checked the passes
