Well, according to my trusty Excel spreadsheet :

51 (30 Aust Domestic, 4 USA Domestic, 17 International) [my record in 2002 was 87]

Total miles:

71,554 miles (22,355 Aust Domestic; 46,888 International; 2,311 USA Dom) - my 2nd longest mileage since commencing in 1987 (my record 129,108 miles in 2002)

Frequent Flyer Miles earned:
QF: 279,270
AA: 1,500
NW: 2,311

Hotel nights:
SPG - 5 for 11 nights; Hilton - 6 for 10 nights; Hyatt - 1 for 1 ; Marriott - 1 for 1 (slow year for me)

Best Mileage Run: Lindsay's Mileage Run across Australia
Best Trip Report (mine): either Lindsay's Wedding & Honeymoon TR or New Years in America 2004
Best get-togethers with other flying friends: OZFEST 2004 and 2004 Xmas QP BNE and SYD meetings

Not a huge year for me as far as number of trips is concerned, but enough to re-qualify QF Platinum and HH Diamond again.

He is refering to a promotion last year by the StarAlliance that permitted a status match of your OneWorld (and probably other programs) status in the *A program. *G was meaning Star Gold status level, which is their alliance-wide status providing many benefits such as lounge access and upgrades etc.
