Looks nice, though I've already booked an Adv Purchase night in Canberra for Jan, so am a bit annoyed to miss out on 2000 points.

My question though, is if using the 10% off Adv Purchase rate from Priority Privilege, does anyone know if you'd get the 2000 bonus or would you miss out?

Admittedly I could phone and ask them (though I worry it would become a pass-the-parcel exercise), but if a promotion like this has run previously I'd appreciate hearing how it worked then.

I'm holding off finalising a few nights in Adelaide in Jan until the Dec-Jan PP newsletter comes out, but this will definitely add a bonus to paying Adv Purchase rates if I don't use a BOGO (I've already decided not to use two BOGOs for the 4 nights in Adelaide).

Next year I'm aiming to make it to Plat, so I'm keen to score extra points if possible.

Why dont you register anyway, I bet you get the bonus, and the PP res should count as well.

So you are saying that it is possible to get bonus points when registering for this promotion after making the Advance Purchase Rate booking?

I have a stay coming up this weekend so will be interested to see what happens.

You never know with PC, you have nothing to loose.

I have three nights coming up this weekend - base points should earn at least ~2000. Two are pre-paid so there's another 4000. Then there's double points for Sweet dilemma (had one stay already) so there's another 2000. Miscallaneous promos may earn an additional few thousand I know not how many exactly.

Now comes the CrackTheCase. This will be my targeted second brand and second Saturday night, another 7700. This will also mean 3 more of my 10 nights target for 125,000 so there's a pro-rate 37,500 (next year when I complete the 10 stays).

BTW, I am currently 51200 points for the year, so I should be be ICH PC "Platinum" by this time next week. Of course, the expected 125,000 nest year will exend this until end of 2012.

By then I should have have over 150,000 PC points. I can always convert them to 30,000 airline points/miles.
