My husband nd I leave for o/s next week. We are travelling Qantas and BA through to Milan. I plan to hit the site exactly 24 hrs before when seat selection opens. When it comes to seat selection I am fairly sure we wont get what we want. How is it that people get in so fast and take the best seats. How do I get the best seats? I would like exit seats if possible. Is there a knack to this. Please help me if you can I am running out of time

Hi lyncom1

You have to remember that QF will have allocated a lot of the "best" seats already so whatever you get now wil be what is left.

In terms of exit rows, QF Platinums will have been able to request these seats and QF actually now sell these seats so you will most likely be out of luck there. You could call QF to pay for them yourself now though...

Yep, and as I have mentioned on many previous posts, I don't think exit rows are the best seats anyway - noisy, gathering area for other PAX, people tread on your feet etc...

Find a row further back empty and take the isle either side, hope no-one takes the centre seats, then once flying, move into the centre seats, you can spread out, no-one wacks into you while transiting isles with the added benefit of extra storage on the vacant seats next to you...

Mr!
