Sounds great..

Put me down for everything.. I'll be down there for the week before this so for a change the timing is perfect ;)

I may now need to fly back to Sydney as we have a client moving office and need me to be there.. im still trying to get it a week later, but will keep the list up to speed.. maybe their new Fibre will be delayed so they cant move anyway :)

Right, I'm all paid up including flights VOZ304 & VOZ353 on the return in the evening of the 19th.

Greg.

I have registered for lunch, but not DC3.

Booked DJ 724 OOL-MEL, ETA 0830.

Hope jb747 can make lunch

Just quickly, this thread is suggesting the date is the 19th of May, however the website link has 19th Mar(ch) just confirming that 19th of May is in fact the correct date... If so what is the latest one can book for the lunch \ flight?

I believe the cut off is the 19th March, while the actual event is the 19th May.

I have put the ticketing as closing on the 19th March for the initial round just so I get a good idea of the numbers as per the previous post, and can get a good idea of actual costs, after then there will still be spaces available on a limited basis I expect.

All booked and paid for.

Am so looking forward to this event.

Thanks for organising this, I like being able to gain even more QFF points paying for it.

Floghts booked for 11 year old and myself, just trying to convince jnr a 70 yr old plane is hopefully not going to fall out of the sky lol. Will then book on the dc3 as well

I am interested in this, the date suits me fine however will read this thread in its entirety when I return back to AUS later in the week and see if its not too late to participate.

Would be even better if we could get Qantas or Virgin to Sponsor it in some way like a goody bag or something like say First Class PJs and ammenity kit lol

Just saw this thread, a question to the Melbourne locals - what's the level of daylight at around 5:30pm for the DC3 flight? I wouldn't expect it to be completely dark, but it will be getting there?

P.S. Given Melbourne it may be sunny for the first half, then raining all sorts of domestic animals for the second half... :)

Sunset is 5.16 on that day, so it will be a twilight flight! I am still firming up timings and given some have tight departures I might move forward the flight to capture the sunset in the air and give those heading home some breathing space.

Thanks for organizing all this markis10! Will be an event to never forget!
