I am scheduled to arrive at 8.30 so depending on when others fly in we can be outside by 9.

I am also arriving 0830 and would appreciate a lift ( please, please )

I might now be able to come.

What is the actual name of the hotel where everyone is staying.

I don't know what the HOTOP stands for.

Interesting, I can either fly CBR-MEL first thing in the morning and get into MEL at 7:50 on a not very cheap ticket ($169), and then have 2 hours to kill before the museum happens, or alternatively I could go CBR-SYD-MEL paying $21 more, nabbing the extra 1000 points \ 10 SC's (so a earn rate of 2.1c per point \ $2.10 per SC), only down side is I wouldn't get into MEL until 10:35, which means I'll miss out on the first hour at the museum...

Ah decisions decisions...

You could come and join the early birds for some arrivals access caffeine in the J Lounge ;)

Go and sit in the lounge was certainly an option, and knowing there are other AFFer's waiting around at MEL does make flying CBR-MEL direct an attractive option...

And Major makes three (with harvyk and ozmille).

So that's the bribery out of the way, now we just need to get on the next booking list... or it's J coffees all round. :-|

PMs will follow when markis10 opens the bookings.

Yeah, I came to my decision, CBR-MEL direct, now all I need is a WP to guest me into the J-lounge whilst we wait... :D

It might have already been covered but when will the booking site reopen again.

I am gold.

Looking at flying down maybe Friday night and leaving sunday morning

Have to pull out of this one I'm afraid. Too much going on. We are also relocating to BNE for good end of April.

If anyone still is keen to attend please send me a PM and I will let you know the details of where to send payment, will have to be a direct deposit I am afraid so no points! Still working on a few details re the tours, things are not as easy as they used to be when it comes to going airside!

Hey what time is everyone heading into MEL? I'm coming from PER and the red eye arrives at 6am

I'm currently a SG and not sure if I will crack WP by the time (i'm using this opportunity to crack WP), as I can't attend the AKL lunch would love to come?

Is there anyone coming from PER - QF648?

I'm coming from PER but I avoid the redeye like the plague.

I'm PER-MEL Friday 18 May QF802 1155-1735 and MEL-PER Sunday 20 May QF777 1455-1700.

Might have to red eye it depending on work, might be taking up a secondment to a Bris office, no sale fares from Perth during that time, so might as well take up the flexi fare for 75 bucks more and earn more SC

I'm going to be coming from my second home, MEL, as I get in off a flight the Saturday morning around 8am, so a quick shower in the VA lounge and I should be good to go (well, as well as can be expected after a long haul!)

I've got an ASIC and am more than happy to escourte some people with VICs if it's any help.

I am pleased to report the lunch is on, subject to JB747's last minute schedule changes he will be joining us, which is great news, it should be a very nice event!

Good work markis10, looking forward to it :)
