10K bonus QFF offer

I received my Plat card and initially signed up for the 25K offer. It was only after searching this forum that I found the 40K offer. Obviously I went after the 40K.

After about 5 min and one phone call back from the excellent Maryanne at Westpac saw the right promo code in my account and a promise that the points should be in my account within 10 days.

Interestingly she did say that the 40K promo was targetted and that they had looked up the 'register'.

The 40K offer Pamphlet I received with the Qantas FF mailer indicated the Bonus points would be credited by April 30th.

Interesting. I applied for this card a few months ago using the platinum promo code, without having received any kind of offer from Westpac.

40,000 points landed in my account today.

Interesting. I applied for the card back in Jan and received my card in late Jan but till date i haven't recieved the points. I rang westpac and they said i need to ring QFF. Is this true?

Westpac said i need to wait until 30th April

How did you get your points early?

FWIW, the same day only 25K points landed in my account. I was expecting 40K. After some calls my WP status was queried! :confused: (Well! ... really! :shock:)

Anyway, eventually I was promised the remaining 15K in a week or two.

My Brochure indicates April 30th, but I did receive my card back December. I guess there's little you can do unless the points don't post by then.
 
My 40,000 posted this morning. I wouldn't worry if you haven't got yours yet. I will happen.

My previous AMEX points took about 60 days.

I have to wait and watch than. I am really banking on 40K points to book my RTW trip in Dec'10

When was your Westpac Earth card activated? I completed my 3 spends in the last week of January and are keen to see the 40,000 points hit my FF account too! The UK exchange rate & Euro can't stay this high for too much longer?!? Flight redemption is on the cards I think!
 
Spoke to westpac and they said 40k is only eligible for Platinum QFF. I am only Silver with QP. But she said i have got the right promo code of 40k

Does anyone know that 40K offer was only for QFF platinum?
