The Qantas Ultimate Amex is up to an 100,000 point sign up offer again, by referral link only (the website direct sign up offer is currently 55,000 points only).

100,000 points when you apply online by 7 October 2020, are approved and spend $3k in the first 3 months.

As @Dr Ralph posted last time around:

This is a popular card because:

  • You get a $450 Qantas travel credit each year (for eligible international or domestic Qantas flights). This offsets the $450 annual fee.
  • You earn 1.25 Qantas points per $1 (except at Australian government bodies which earn 0.5 points per $1).
  • You get 4 lounge passes each year (2 AMEX and 2 Qantas).
  • No cap on earning.
  • You can select a low credit limit (helps to churn other cards simultaneously)
  • Insurance included.
Amex have also added their "Plan it instalments" feature, if that appeals to you.

Note that you are not eligible if you have held an AMEX-branded Amex in the last 18 months. If you hold a non-amex-branded-amex, such as a westpac amex card, I encourage you to contact amex directly to see if you are eligible for this offer.

View the offer (or if you already hold a card, add your referral link) to the AFF referral thread for this offer here. Choosing a link from this thread will grant a fellow AFF'er a 60,000 point bonus.
