Noticed your diving avatar esseeeayeenn. Mrs p and I reacquainted ourselves the raptures of the deep a couple of years ago after a 25yr hiatus. It is like riding a bike, you never forget...mind we never missed a chance to leap off the rocks for a snorkel with the kids in the intervening years.

I also had a long break from diving.
I started as a teenager but stopped without ever qualifying.
Went back to it a few years ago and did my open water in Rockingham (south of Perth).
Then followed it up a week later with a 3 day live-aboard on the GBR out of Cairns.
Did my advanced open water on the boat.
So glad I did it - so worthwhile.
Since then I've dived on the GBR, in South Australia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Bali and Thailand.
Hoping to do lots more this year!

Well done. I wouldn't mind doing Sri Lanka and back to Savusavu. I took the first published photo of the "Lady & Horse" relief statue on the Pres. Coolidge in Vanuatu in 1982. Good times then.
