Many thanks... I choose to celebrate by formulating a plan to get to Easter Island via Buenos Aires... and Brazil... with a couple of days in Santiago...

When the plan is coming together please share the details. I'd love to hear about how you arrange the itinerary.
 
Thanks JohnK for reminding to count down to my 1000th post... Luckily it didn't end up being about a coughroach in the DPS lounge but the one after.

I joined AFF almost 3 years ago just before I lost my previous job in MEL and I think I reached 500 posts during my the final weeks at "work". The AFF social events I attended around that time were also a welcome distraction so thank you all!
