I'm using the mobile qantas ff site. Can't i use points to go via hong kong i.e. only one stop? All options were via eastern states and much longer flying time. Am i missing something?

When I pay for my flights approx 3000, am I better off using the AMEX ANZ VISA card (Qantas FF member) or the Qantas CAsh Card as far as earning points goes? I suspect it's AMEX. cHEERS.
