Their booking options for Canberra - Perth is shocking too. 4, 5 hour layovers in Melbourne or Sydney. VA needs to start a direct service or improve online booking options!

Totally agree with all points. They might not be pretty, but even 'gourmet' sausage rolls/spring rolls with sauce would be very welcome. The soup and cold meats/salads/stale bread doesn't cut it. More craft/independent beer in some of the bigger lounges would also be welcome as well.

This is true, to an extent. Unfortunately there are still a lot of bogans and noisy families who would have been flying from the Virgin Blue days. Hopefully the takeover of Tiger can fix this.

The only downside with moving to SQ would be their so called 'lounge' in Melbourne. Virgin might even match your status if you are serious about SQ but still want decent recognition in Australia.
