Is it just me or has the night counter not reset for the year? I was hoping for it to be zero before renewal to make sure the nights go to the right year.

To be fair before that it was a QF Club. It became a JQ lounge due to QF stopping all OOL flights.

Used to be able to, my guess is by forcing airport check in they get to be stricter on visa/passport checks that limits possibilities of fines/having to return someone.

Emirates appears to be releasing F rewards a month out between Australia and Dubai. There are quite a few days with DXB to BNE or MEL in January. I had previously snagged a F reward from Europe to Dubai and then was going to fly Y back on Qatar to Australia, was able to call and snag an F seat...

How big was the change. This is normal sometimes when it’s a small change the system will auto accept and ticket but there is a small window often only a hour where you get access to the change page.

Well it looks like 143 is cancelled and so is the return 146. Flightradar24 has 8II removed from VA95 but VAs own flight status system still shows it for now.

Excellent… I’m on VA95 this afternoon and the same aircraft VH-8II was scheduled for that flight.

I just passed through the domestic terminal and the new central screening is now open in a soft launch with two lanes operational. The door from the carpark/train bridge is also now open. Offical opening is end of next week at which point the ribbon cutting can occur and the VA security...

Or released around same time as negative press layoffss before Christmas to try to counter? Very unlikely, pre Covid VA had a lot of cash stuck in the country. They had to sell tickets in local currency but couldn’t pull that cash back to Australia.
