Certainly they don't need to comp P1 but when else have they downsized so many flights and routes in such a short space of time? This period of time is looking to be more serious than GFC of '08 when it comes to markets, business travel, health, etc
Corona virus wouldn't have anything to do with a loss last year...just bad management!
I don't mind PR for short domestic hops but can't get past their non-existent lounge network, terrible Terminal 2 in MNL and no useful FF programme...I'll stick with OW.
I think once the world goes into manage mode and away from massive uncertainty mode things will improve. Experts agree 80% of people who get the virus will only experience mild symptoms similar to the common cold. I'm afraid if we stay in uncertainty mode too long and the world economy gets...
The QF staff can treat you how they want...it's not like you're going to turn around in a huff and use one of the many other lounge options!
Being the preferred domestic carrier in a duopoly is a drag don't you know?
It's well known it has been in need of a complete overhaul for a few years now...almost anywhere in the general international terminal area is a better experience than the J lounge!
I always imagine a young professional new to a job flying SYD-DFW for the first time in J where their company has...
I would have calmly but firmly instructed the QF staff to assist at once as my flight is closing.
I would not be palmed off/directed elsewhere, I would not let them go back to their texting/chatting - I would ensure they do their job.
Having a chartered flight at T-30 you are priority one in...
If my flight is departing within 30mins and I am having baggage issues along with QF ground staff not giving a toss - making a fuss is the exact course of action.
How anyone gets in a line for customer service while their flight is boarding I cannot understand.
None of this matters....AJ is running a tight ship with no spare aircraft lying around even at home hubs such as SYD. Shareholders come first and PAX come last.
Remember each time you go to book a ticket you are reminded 'We will do our best to get you where you want to be on time, but we don’t...
Might not mean much but the Barra I had earlier in the month on my QF J flight was pretty dry and ordinary!
QF J meals continue their slide downwards...
Being in the last row of J in the new a380 config is certainly a long way back...17 rows to be exact. Difficult to get your preferred meal if one or two are not popular leaving only one popular meal that everyone ahead of you will order.
Certainly complain.
I've gotten one a few times...the check box when requesting a points upgrade clearly states for solo travellers the option to receive an upgrade right until boarding.
My guess is once check in is closed any no shows are processed and seats can become available.
As someone mentioned in your other thread once the QF system processes your upgrade to PE there is no more to do. SST could have been more helpful I guess - did they offer any options from PE to J? Certainly a QF system loophole / enhancement.
I would assume so as BKK seems to get worse for me every time with regards to immigration processing time. The sheer volume of PAX at certain peak times along with the seemingly snail pace at which each customer is processed does not make a good experience. This must correlate with the large...
