QF has been running Dash 8s on this service for several weeks. Waiting till the day before to tell you this and that they are now overbooked is hugely inconvenient for passengers and what travel arrangements had already been made.

I have stayed at Citadines a few times, comfortable and fairly quiet and worth the bit extra for a premium economy or business class room. Holiday inn express is also suitable, smaller rooms but included breakfast is very good including barista coffee. Pullman very comfortable and quiet but $$$.

Me too, I didn't book any flights during the DSC offer last week as I didn't want to waste any more time with Qantas when flights and bookings are being changed constantly and I have to call to resolve taking 1-2 hours each time. I haven't received the rollover yet after a week into my membership year. I retained WP a couple of months ago and so wasn't eligible for the extension but I believe I'm still eligible for rollover.
