I don't like the QF A380 2-2-2 J arrangement if flying alone For this I'll go with the CX 1-2-1 and get a "window" seat. The 10 and 12-13 hour trip works better for me as well

The BKK-PBH did have lounge access at both ends. In BKK it was the TG J lounge. Both ends nothing to shout about. A private place to have a nibble and a drink. I imagine it will be the same at DEL

If done laparoscopically, usually next day home if no complications (majority). If gets converted to open, few days stay....3-5

Don't mind safety diversions but what was unacceptable was running out of champagne after an hour in the flight.......:p (yes was on the flight as well :p) They delayed most of the connecting flights in HKG to allow us (hopefully all) to make our connections, felt sorry for those who were...

Lounge closes about 11pm in Dec Kitchen stops about 2240 Entered lounge at 2210. Staff seemed disinterested to serve us on the CX flight So did not get to dessert

Do they let riff-raff SPG platinums into the lounge or do we get shunted into a dark corner...

Only way to do this is going via the Flounge first..... then you won't need anything onboard:lol:
