    Citibank ready credit

Be warned.....I applied for one of these accounts last year, it took Citibank around 8 months and a large number of phone calls, emails and letters chasing them to credit the 4000 points. They still failed to return my original documentation. Since then I have closed off the account...

It works better when you send them around 10 letters. You are more likely to get a response. Good Luck!

QANTAS ANZ GOLD VISA CARD SUBSTITUTE CARD ????????

I say Blame it on the Reserve Bank. If they did not intervene, a lot more people will be happier. Check out the following article. http://moneymanager.smh.com.au/articles/2003/11/12/1068329597015.html

QANTAS ANZ card has even further deteriorated... to rubbish

A lot of discussion is focus and blame is on the Banks. We should lay our blame on the Reserve Bank. They were suppose to look after the consumer however this has backfired. As a result, we are all now up for higher Bank charges.

CitiBank CC - able to transfer QFF points from the web site?

Thanks Gordon. The only way to get Citibank points is by having a Citibank credit card. Since I do not have one, this is not possible. Citibank finally says there has been problems with crediting points to QFF. Apprantly these problems date back to November 2002?

Late last year, Citibank had a special promotion for their Ready Credit Account and offering new customers a 4000 QFF Point promotion. Since I sucessfully opened up an account, Citibank has not come to the party and credited the points to me as part of their deal. I have personally found...

    BEWARE! ANZ Telstra Visa cards....

Recently ANZ had the ANZ Premier Select Product where you pay an annual fee of $295 per annum. This entitles you to a interest rate concession based on the size of your loan. For Example Equity Manager is currently 5.97% (cheapest advertised line of credit facility) plus a range of other...

QFF points not added to account after OS travel...

The best way to avoid the problem is to make sure your booking has your FF number recorded. It will also be printed on you boarding pass. Worst case send in a photocopy and they will credit your account. It happened to my wife once but that was when she was setting up her FF account. The...

    Beware the Check-IN naz_'s

I have been on numerous trips interstate and International and was never asked to check heavy or oversized bags. I got away with 30kgs at one point in time on an international leg back to Sydney. Domestic trips is even easier to get away with it. It seems like they like you to carry...

    Points for Goods

Have not heard about the other types of schemes however you should look at the items in $$$ terms and not get carried away by the points. For example a Home Loan with FF points sounds very good on the surface however you end up paying for it with a higher interest rate than a normal loan with...
