I think the credit promos where you get 10-15 nights credit really put the non US bonvoy member at a disadvantage. But I haven't heard of a credit that give platinum access yet, but I might be wrong. I get Hilton through Velocity, which I'm still preferring to use Bonvoy most of the time.

I've stayed there a few times recently. I like the spot, the property and it very handy to the civic offices. It is the current preference for my CBR stays I'd recommended the restaurant for breakfast and meals, which is a surprise for me. I normally feel some hotel food options are overpriced...
