I've never had any issues calling the VA call centre and adding a VFf number to the booking. Almost instantly I can access the booking in the VA site and choose a seat.

I have a HA flight to HNL-BNe (VfF award redemption) and connecting to Syd on a VA flight. Separate tickets. Wondering if VA grant me train access between terminals? What happens to the bags? Do I have to cart them with me?

I reckon just ask them at check in. Logic would say they'd fix it up there. I've stayed there before and got excellent service. Hopefully it ends well for you.

Re: Are 'overseas' transactions in AUD counted as international spend for Points earn I recently did this accidentally. Had a foreign charge billed in AUD and assumed I'd not get the bonus points, but I did.
