Is 1hr 55 min enough time to transit QF @ BNE Dom to Intl?

I'm on a QF connecting flight Syd-BNE-LAX later this year. QF notified me of a change in departure times so now I only have 1:55 hr to transfer. I've done the reverse before and that took a while.

Is that enough time assuming I've got to collect bags, train it and re-checkin at BNE? I was on the phone earlier today waiting in queue, but ran out of time. So thought I'd ask here before speaking with them.

Should be enough time.

Your bags should be checked through in SYD and when you get to BNE do not use the train use the T-Bus which runs every 10 minutes in peak or every 20 minutes at other times. Is right outside domestic terminal.

Your only issue could be if domestic flight is delayed.

As per JohnK - I have used the T-bus a couple of times recently and each time it was very quick and reliable - from picking up your bags in Dom to arriving for checkin at International should take no more than about 20 minutes tops.

MCT is 90 minutes (see below) QF don't need to do anything. If you are really concerned, you can call and try to get an earlier flight or perhaps front up at SYD on the day in time to to get a gratis change to an earlier flight.

I can't imagine QF being that different to VA. I did a 1 hour 45 min connection VA domestic to VA intl in BNE in April with about half an hour in the lounge spare. This was a Monday morning (around 8-10am).

Your bags will be through checked to LAX from SYD & you'll get both boarding passes in SYD.

As others have said just make your way down the escalators out the front of the QF Domestic terminal and jump on the orange TBus.

If the TBus drops you off at level 2 arrivals at intl just take the lift to level 4 and proceed to security then customs.

As others have said, your luggage and BP's will be taken care of.

Scenario 1: Everything will work out just right.

Scenario 2: A pax at SYD will be late and the flight leaves 10 mins late, you're at the back of your 737 and 150 people have to get off before you can, you exit the DOM terminal to see the rear of the bus going down the road and have to wait 10 min for the next one, you get to security at INT and there are 2 747's full of Asian tourists waiting to go through the security screening and only 2 xrays are working etc etc etc.

I know what I would do...
