I think that is true for auto-transfer, but not so for the manual transfer. Te manual transfer you can get once in the promo period.

The auto transfer offers are usually (but not always - eg January offer of 300+300 for reactivating) for first auto transfer ever. Manual transfer offers are once per offer period with no exclusion for prior transfers.

But you are unlikely to activate auto transfer if you have 700,000 points?

I probably would - I just transfer whatever the minimum is each time there's an offer so it's never banked up enough to have that sort of balance anyway, and ultimately I want them in KF miles via VFF. So if it's a manual offer, I transfer the minimum each time, and if it's auto transfer and I'm eligible I turn it on, then back off again.

True, it's only an incremental gain over leaving auto transfer on all the time, but it's an increment that costs me nothing.
