CSM Damien gave us Lemon Polenta cakes to take home - great service from the crew, especially after a very long and delayed day for them.

QF10, menu and food selections, went with the duck starter and chicken for main - both pleasant enough without being spectacular.

Breakfast was a bit of a let down, poached egg on toast (came hard boiled) - which probably isn’t easy to get right on an aircraft. At least the 787 had proper coffee machine, much better than the A330.

Pretty sure the A330 and 787 both have the same pod machines for their "espresso".

Looks like you made a solid choice. Bagels, Salmon and eggs is a winning combo.

Had the ham and gruyère cheese omelette, which was better than expected and hit the spot nicely. The usual Lois Lane sparkling accompanied. The other breakfast options were a frittata of some description and a Bircher muesli.

Since when are the meal trays lined with cloth?

Looks good, though (because I wouldn't discourage this idea) ironically probably increases the risk of slipping compared to the bare tray.

Yeah, while the 787 has drinkable coffee, it certainly isn't "great coffee"

On board QF592 - 3 breakfast options. I had the crumpet. Originally 2 but one thrown by accident by the FA. I opted to just one due to the carb loading. Other options were a fruit salad and a potato fritter

I was on QF406 earlier and skipped breakfast.
