I was sitting on the plane tonight and decided to call Christmas drinks for ADL on Friday the 20th.

Ok, after much speculation and anticipation... here are the official details for the Adelaide AFF Christmas Drinks & Dinner Event (as originally called by medhead)

Date: Monday 23rd December 2013

Time: Drinks from 6:00pm / Dinner From 7:30pm

The Drinks Location: The Collins Bar | Home | Adelaide coughtail Bar

The Dinner Location: Ding Hao - Gouger Street - Adelaide | Urbanspoon

Jess doesn't arrive until after the 20th. How about 23rd?
 
I thought Newk was planning the next one ;) ... good thread medhead, I like your thinking. Always have time for an ADL aff meet, will check my schedule and get back to you...

Due to the time of the year a booking for dinner will be required, where's everybody thinking?
 
Thought we'd start at that coughtail bar at the Hilton and then find a restaurant in gouger st.

Does someone want to nominate a restaurant?

Being a Monday and not Christmas Eve I'm hoping it won't be too bad.

Seeing my CC will probably get a hammering the week before, maybe somewhere cheap and cheerful.

Medhead usually likes to eat before midnight, suggest Drinks from 18:30hrs and dinner from 19:30hrs

???? Anyone second that suggestion...?

I am interested.

I wish I'd had more time to chat to Anna and Newk at AFF7. Similar to moa999 I am also likely to be on a forced vacation at that time unless I can find a "business reason" to work through the shutdown.

I thought 6pm start, but 6/6:30 with dinner at 19:30 is good.

I'll check numbers on Friday and book the restaurant based thereon. So get in people…. ;)
