Ok @richardbranson, we've chatted with Velocity #frequentflyer. It's looking like we have the green light. Stay tuned! #screwitletsdoit

An AFF member recently posted that they only value their VFF points at 0.5c. With unlimited redemption available at 0.8c (any seat awards) I was tempted to make an offer to become the member's brother-in-law for a couple of days but figured that would be against forum rules :p.

Maybe he could ask Bossreggie what he did with several million QFF points

Yeah, well they would be hard to use when you can travel upper classes just about anywhere anytime on paid travle, you'd never have a need to use your points. Am sure this forum could find a way to share the points with us.

It was mentioned when the thread was created:

Your quote mentions it's an upcoming comp; well now I'm here to tell you that the comp is here now... so it would be in best interests to update the title or otherwise split off my post as a new thread.

I find VFF points much more flexible in terms of booking than QF, especially at the last minute. Also the ability to fly people other than family members (we're all members of the human family !?!?). I've managed to fly friends when they have had family emergencies, saving them a lot of money. So this competition is useful for me.

But as always YMMV

Had a twitter account for ages.... first time I used it. Most probably stuffed it up. Doesn't exactly give you a lot of space to say anything!!!

Well, it was not on the Velocity Website yesterday - but it is now: (https://www.velocityfrequentflyer.com/content/)

Thanks for heads up, entered & that was probably my 3rd ever tweet...cant exactly get much text in once you include the #WinRichardsPoints though

.... He won't last very long at all .... Not without our help anyway ;)

I'd love to see this one. "Went to New York. Booked a night in a Hotel. Had a meal. Didn't have cash to get back to the airport so currently begging on the street for a cab fare". :)
