Also mention have traveled to Canada where the magic sites were:

Rockie Mountains anywhere from Alberta to British Columbia- any time of year
Quebec & Montreal
Nova Scotia - Fantastic Scenery

Niagara was was awesome, the scenery, the noise, the history. Want to go back again this time in winter and see the difference from a summer trip.

After checking the updated list I was surprised to see that Brugge in Belgium was not listed - was there on Monday and it was magnificent. A quick day trip from Paris on the Thalys train and just cross the road from the station and you start your trip back into history.

I would like to ask the AFF community to nominate 3 (only 3 please) places that should be on the T100 and your reasons why. Please feel free to nominate somewhere that's already nominated - this will allow the list to be ordered.

Can I impose one rule please - if you feel the need to bag anyone's post, flame them for their choice or anything else similar (I.E chat about, promote, relay your experiences), go to the playground and open a new thread, don't do it here. Let's see if we can keep on topic

Thanks for sticking to the rules - there is a lot of work on the list to date and I would love to see a finalised list!

Been to:

Iceland : best lamb in the world, quaint city, northern lights, remarkable countryside
New York : Time Square at night and all the usual tourist attractions
Italian countryside & villages : Lovely people (I speak Italian), superb food and wine. A great approach to life
San Francisco : I can sit in "The Saloon" bar every night until being kicked out at 2am. Great blues music and good prices for beer.
Kokoda Track : A challenging and rewarding experience. 100km walk through Papua New Guinea jungle mixing nature, wartime tragedy & victory and exercise

To do:

El Camino de Santiago : Flights booked and walking 800km starting late March 2014
An African safari
Petra in Jordan
Moscow

2. Venice - There is just something magical about it.
3. Fiordland NZ - Just amazing

1. Antarctica - for the remoteness, the quiet, the bizzare.
2. Galapagos Islands - for the wildlife, both above and below water.
3. London - for the culture.

3 places I've been
Machu Pichu
Great wall of China
Fez in Morocco

3 places I'd like to go
Iguazu Falls
Rio
Anchor Wat

Paris - just because it's Paris
Alaska - Bay of Glaciers - stunning scenery and wildlife.
Amazon Jungle - remote and like nothing else in the world.

1. Antarctica - for the remoteness, the quiet, the bizzare.
2. Galapagos Islands - for the wildlife, both above and below water.
3. London - for the culture.
