Just wondering.....if travelling in J class, you have access to the J lounge (which alledgedly is the better of the 2), but can you access the QP if you want to.

OR,

If I wanted to go into the QP would I flash my SG card and not my BP

You can access either lounge (in MEL you actually have to walk through the QP to get to the J lounge).

Either/ or.

If I'm with my young son we always just go to the QP for the kiddies section.

To be honest the food choices are the only thing that draws me into the J lounge.

Either / or... The JLounge certainly has better food, the QP's either has an equal or better view (certainly does in CBR) and is more kid friendly with kid zones.

BP is usually required or they will scan your card to make sure you qualify for entry (flying that day) but that's a bit hit and miss usually.

In MEL, sometimes when I walk into the QP there is no one there to man the entrance!

I once got into the MEL QP by simply pointing to the person in front of me (I did know who they where, but the staff shouldn't have assumed I did).
